You have three options for starting your career with KB Components: Apply for one of our vacancies, apply for one of our trainee programs, or send us a spontaneous application. We are also happy to accept applications from students looking for an internship or wishing to do their thesis projects at KB Components.
Hiring needs are always initiated by the department in question, and HR, colleagues and managers all participate in the hiring process to ensure you’ll fit right in with our team.
We are committed to recruiting without prejudice according to the protected grounds of Swedish law that prohibit discrimination because of sex, transgender identity or expression, ethnicity, religion or other belief, disability, sexual orientation or age. We use standardized interview templates to ensure our judgement is objective.
A needs analysis is created internally and selection criteria are established. The criteria may include required education, experience and personal qualities.
Vacancies are primarily advertised on our website, job search websites and social media. In rare cases, we hire recruitment agencies to help find suitable candidates.
Once we have received your job application, we check to see whether your background and skills match our selection criteria. If so, you will move on to the interview phase.
We usually invite applicants to a short, initial interview, so that both parties can get a sense of whether we would enjoy working together. At this stage, we look into any references, and then move onto another screening process.
In addition to your skillset, we highly prioritize your personal qualities such as drive and dedication. We assume that you will want to grow with the company. We expect you to participate in our ongoing improvement efforts and that you’ll be a contributing player on our winning team. Nice-looking CVs are all well and good, but we think the person behind them is more important. We want to hear about your interests, family and experiences.
It’s not uncommon for us to invite you to another interview with several members of yourprospective working group , so they can meet you.
The entire recruitment process can take quite a long time, but we think it’s important to find just the right person for the job.

It’s important to us that you feel well received and at ease in the beginning. Therefore, you will be assigned a mentor who will be tasked with guiding you through our procedures and ensuring you quickly become part of the community at our company.
Your orientation program will be designed by the department head. It will be based on your position, the knowledge you will need to bring you up to speed at your new job and the people you should know.
